Scones Tim O'Reilly Cut 1/2 cup chilled butter into 2.5 to 3 cups flour until it looks granular. Add and whisk in: 3 T Sugar (1.5 oz) 4 t baking powder (0.7 oz) 1/2 t salt (0.1 oz) At this point you can freeze the dough for later use. In the center of the mixture make a well and add: 1/2 to 1 cup currents (or raisens or cranberries) 1/2 to 1 cup of milk Stir with a knife until it is just short of gooey. Start with a small amount adding more and stirring until the dough begins to hang together. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop small 1" to 1.5" lumps of the dough un the sheet. Bake @ 425 10 - 15 minutes
